At Heart of Gold Academy, we deliver full training pathways for adult social care and support services

This includes mandatory and statutory training, complete and clinical care training, condition specific
awareness, and professional development for senior staff.

All training is delivered by qualified nurse educators or experienced sector trainers and aligned
with CQC expectations, Skills for Care guidance, and current legislation.

Core and Mandatory Training

Essential for all care staff and suitable for home care, residential care and
supported living

Complex Care and Clinical Training

Designed for staff supporting individuals with clinical or technology dependent
needs, with a focus on safe practice, confidence, and competency

  • Epilepsy and seizure awareness including rescue medication
  • Skin integrity and pressure area prevention
  • Manual handling in complex care

Specialist Clinical Training

Advanced training for high risk or complex health needs.
