Heart of Gold Academy exists to raise standards across adult social care through
expert led training, governance support, and practical education.

We support care providers, clinical teams, and managers to deliver safe, person
centred, and inspection ready care. Our work focuses on building staff confidence,
strengthening compliance, and improving real world practice.

All our training and consultancy is aligned with current legislation, the Care Certificate
standards, and the CQC Single Assessment Framework.

Who We Are

Heart of Gold Academy is a specialist training and consultancy provider supporting
adult social care services across domiciliary care, residential care, and supported living.

We are led by experienced clinicians and educators who understand frontline care, leadership
responsibilities, and regulatory expectations. Our team brings practical experience
from care delivery, inspection readiness, and service improvement.

We work with providers at every stage, from new services preparing for registration to
established organisations strengthening quality, governance, and outcomes.

Our Team

Heart of Gold Academy is led by Rahisah Arfat and supported by a multidisciplinary team
of qualified trainers and educators

Leadership

Director and Registered Manager level oversight, ensuring quality, governance, and alignment with current regulatory requirements.

Clinical Educators

Registered nurse educators and clinicians with experience across community nursing, learning disability, safeguarding, and complex care.

Learner Support

Administrative and customer care team supporting bookings, reminders, certificates and post session follow up. Every trainer holds relevant teaching or assessing qualifications and delivers sessions that are both evidence based and grounded in real life practice.

Accreditation and Compliance

Our programmes are written in line with the Care Quality Commission Fundamental
Standards and the Health and Social Care Act 2008.

We align all content with current guidance, including Skills for Care best practice and
relevant NICE guidance. Our curriculum is reviewed regularly to ensure changes in
regulation and inspection focus are reflected in our training.

Heart of Gold Academy is working towards recognition with professional bodies including the
CPD Standards Office and Skills for Care. Updates will be published once confirmed.

We also follow GDPR and information governance best practice. Learner records and certificates
are stored securely and used only for legitimate business purposes.
